Vejle Municipality has a strategic focus on three specific themes:
- Food Innovation and Gastronomy
- Sustainability, Green Tech and Resilience
- Conferences and events
Food Innovation and Gastronomy
Food Innovation is a prioritized area of business and a Food Innovation House (FIH) is situated in the northern part of town at Dandy Business Park. In FIH, Vejle municipality has a food lab called Culinary Institute by Vejle Erhverv, where businesses can seek guidance in developing new cooking techniques or products. FIH has a test kitchen, a show room supermarket, food consultants and professionals to help businesses thrive in the area of Food Innovation.
